Challenge Banners

Archive Bugs

A couple of bugs have crawled out from under the rug in the past month that may affect authors' use of the Many Paths to Tread archive in minor ways. One is completely harmless, just slightly pesky, and the other I am in the process of correcting on another site and will apply similiar changes to the MPTT site as well.

Story preview and series. Currently, when you add a new story and click the "Preview" button, the preview pane will show that your story belongs to the most recent series added to the archive. Don't fret, though--your story isn't actually being added to any series, and when you click to add the story, the series will display correctly.

Adding multiple subseries to a parent series. Currently, authors are only able to add one subseries to a parent series. This is a bug--you should be able to add as many subseries to a parent series as you would like--generating from an error in how our database is set up. I am working with another webmaster on another site to resolve the problem and will correct the problem here as well as soon as we confirm that our fix works. In the meantime, unfortunately, authors are limited to adding only one subseries to a parent series.
