Chapter 1

This is so touching. It's not the joyful expressions I often see in your usual family portraits; it's a serious and thoughtful expression that goes perfectly with the quotation below.

It is the sort of musing a father might have as he looks on his child and thinks of what the future may bring, and you show that in Aragorn's eyes.

I also love your lovely rendition of little Eldarion, his grip upon his father's hand, a familiar hand, one that he already loves and trusts, young as he is.

You always show the intimate moments of the Royal family. Aragorn is not the sort of father to leave his child to be raised by servants, only to be noticed once he is old enough to begin instructed in statecraft. Instead he gives in to his love for his family completely.

Really, really, really nice. You have a connection with your favorite characters that shows in everything you do, that I have not noticed in Tolkien fanart since the wonderful work Kassiopea did of Boromir and Faramir. The love just shines through.

Oh wow Dreamflower.  Thank you for the kind words.  What you just described..... is exactly what I was hoping to convey.  Thank you so much.  Kassiopea?  I LOVE her work!  Thank you for the comparison in that respect.  I can only hope to improve and draw as well and as easily as she does.  She is amazing.  Again...thank you so much.

What a perfect illustration for Dwim's work.  She has such a wonderful way with words, and your artwork brings it to work so perfectly.  Lovely!

Author's Response:

Thank you Larner.  I do love the way she writes. I always wanted to do something with "Confession" when I read it a while ago (a long time ago) and it wasn't til recently that it came to fruition. :)  Thank you again!
