Aside from having 'my guy Boromir' called moody, I really liked this story. :D

Author's Response:

Am so glad you do, Nautika.  Although I'm certain that each and every one of the Nine was moody at least now and then.  Heh!

This is very insightful!

Author's Response:

I do believe that Faramir must have thought deeply as to the ramifications of his decision on whether to aid Frodo or to bring him back to Minas Tirith, and realized he was most likely sending Frodo forth to die.  However, once he knew what it was that the Hobbit carried, he would refuse to bring it anywhere near anyone he loved.

Thanks so very much!

I dont see many stories about Radagast! Nice!

Author's Response:

Not many seek to do much with Radagast, so I, too, am glad to find such stories, and include him from time to time.  But I couldn't think of anyone who fit the prompt better at this point.

Sweet, very sweet!

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you think so.  I love Esmeralda, you see, and I felt that the wives and mothers of warriors everywhere needed to be remembered here.

Being more a movie person, than a book person, I'd never considered this part of the story. But I think you (Glorfindel) is right. At the time, Frodo was probably thrilled to be in Rivendell with Bilbo and the others. Later, he very well might have cursed Glorfindel and anyone else who saved him.

Author's Response:

So I've thought as well.  I was a book person once, and felt that there was a good deal in this portion of the story the films could have investigated a bit more fully.

I've always appreciated the way Aragorn dealt with Beregond, but I've never heard it stated so well.

Author's Response:

Thank you!  I'm honored!  And this is why I began loving Aragorn so well and so early!
