It's page 534-535, at the very end and beginning of the pages. Thank you for pointing out where to look it up! *grin* I'll keep a bookmark there and think of this story!.

I loved this, especially the wordplay, which I think I followed rather well! Unfortunately, my LOTR is all three volumes and Appendices in one; page 177 is the second page of "A Knife in the Dark". Could you clarify a bit more, please? :-(

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the wordplay. Unfortunately, I have no idea what page number the dialog might be found on in a combined version of LotR. It's part of the Helm's Deep chapter and occurs shortly after Aragorn and Eomer draw swords together to defend the gates. Hope that helps you find it!

While this debate threatened to get the better of me, I think I finally have it figured out. Intelligent debates are always welcome, especially among friends. It's a special joy to have Eomer included in addition to the three hunters!

Keep debating!!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the debate! It's pretty inane and was meant more as a joke than as anything else, but since various people have been debating about what Gimli meant when he said he hadn't hewn anything since Moria, I figured I should give him a chance to explain. Glad you liked Eomer, too. He made a great foil to the inanity. Thank you for the review!
