A 'missing scene' from Cushions. Lothíriel and Cwengyth discuss what might, or might not, happen at Lothíriel's upcoming wedding.

Story Notes:

In 'Cushions', as they are cheered and clapped on their way out of their wedding feast, Lothiriel says "But there are much more embarrassing traditions in some parts of Gondor."

This short scene has her and Cwenhild discussing those very customs.

All the customs mentioned are genuine ones in one or another part of the lands around the Mediterranean - zeedrippyvessel also mentions one of them in her Rohan stories.
