A piece written for the LOTR Community challenge for April, which asked for a riddle in poetic form. I chose the element that was given me as the subject and the solution.
This is a little silly (sorry!) but, I hope, funny and anyway based in canon. In fact, if you recognize the canon source, you will know the solution right away.
Also, it is perhaps not quite poetry, but there is rhyme.
Not tagged for character or place because that would give too many clues away

The solution to the riddle is given in the end notes.
